1. About LifeKeep

LifeKeep is a secure household organisation and continuity platform designed to help individuals and families organise important information, manage responsibilities, securely store documents, collaborate with trusted people, and prepare for unexpected life events.

LifeKeep is intended to support organisation and planning. It is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or emergency advice.

2. Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 16 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Provide accurate registration information
• Maintain the security of your account

You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account.

3. Creating an account

To use many LifeKeep features you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep your information current
• Keep your password confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of all information, documents, photographs, tasks, contacts, notes, and other content you upload to LifeKeep ("User Content").

You grant LifeKeep a limited licence to:

• Store your content
• Back up your content
• Synchronise your content across your devices
• Display your content to you
• Share your content only according to permissions you configure

We do not claim ownership of your information.

5. Trusted Access

LifeKeep allows you to grant access to trusted people. You are solely responsible for:

• Deciding who receives access
• Configuring access permissions
• Choosing emergency access rules
• Reviewing your continuity settings

LifeKeep cannot verify whether a trusted person remains appropriate over time. You should regularly review your trusted access settings.

6. Continuity Planning

LifeKeep provides tools to assist with continuity planning. These tools are designed to help you prepare for unexpected circumstances.

LifeKeep does not:

• Determine whether an emergency exists
• Make legal decisions on your behalf
• Replace wills, powers of attorney or estate planning
• Guarantee that trusted people will act appropriately

Users remain responsible for all continuity planning decisions.

7. Subscription plans

LifeKeep offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions may include additional features such as:

• Additional storage
• Unlimited Buckets
• Enhanced sharing
• Continuity Planning
• Premium support
• Additional future features

Subscription features may change as the service evolves.

8. Payments

Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal. You authorise our payment provider to charge the applicable subscription fees.

Prices may change in the future. If pricing changes, we will provide reasonable notice before renewal.

9. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not normally provide refunds for unused subscription periods unless required by law.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Violate any laws
• Upload illegal material
• Infringe intellectual property rights
• Upload malicious software
• Interfere with LifeKeep systems
• Attempt unauthorised access
• Reverse engineer the Services
• Abuse or harass other users
• Use LifeKeep for spam or phishing
• Exploit security vulnerabilities

11. Availability

We aim to provide reliable services. However, LifeKeep is provided on an "as available" basis. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Maintenance, upgrades, internet outages or circumstances beyond our control may occasionally affect access.

12. Backups

LifeKeep maintains infrastructure designed to protect your information. However, users remain responsible for ensuring particularly important documents are retained elsewhere where appropriate.

LifeKeep should not be your sole archive of irreplaceable information.

13. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encrypted connections
• Encrypted storage
• Authentication controls
• Access controls
• Security monitoring

No online service can guarantee absolute security.

14. Intellectual property

LifeKeep owns all rights in:

• Software
• Designs
• Logos
• Trademarks
• Website content
• Graphics
• Documentation
• Source code

Except for your own content, no part of LifeKeep may be copied, modified or redistributed without written permission.

15. Feedback

If you submit suggestions or feedback, you grant LifeKeep a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use those suggestions without compensation.

16. Third-party services

LifeKeep may integrate with third-party providers including cloud hosting, authentication services, payment providers, email providers and analytics providers. Their services remain subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

17. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using LifeKeep, you acknowledge that your information will be handled in accordance with that policy.

18. Data deletion

You may delete your account at any time. Following deletion:

• Your access ends
• Your subscription is cancelled
• Your data will be deleted or anonymised after any applicable retention period unless required by law

19. Service changes

We may add new features, modify existing features, discontinue features, improve security, or update the interface. We will make reasonable efforts to minimise disruption.

20. Suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms
• Threaten system security
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Misuse the Services
• Fail to pay subscription fees

Where practical, we will provide notice before permanent termination.

21. Disclaimers

LifeKeep is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that:

• The Services will always be available
• Information will never be lost
• The Services will be error-free
• The Services will meet every user's specific requirements

22. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LifeKeep, Empowered Dynamics FZ-LLC, its directors, employees and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of opportunity, or loss of data.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our total liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to LifeKeep during the previous twelve months, or USD $100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

23. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Empowered Dynamics FZ-LLC and its affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from:

• Your misuse of the Services
• Your breach of these Terms
• Your violation of applicable law
• Infringement of another person's rights through your use of LifeKeep

24. Force majeure

LifeKeep is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, internet failures, power outages, cyberattacks, labour disputes, or government action.

25. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Emirate in which Empowered Dynamics FZ-LLC is established, except where applicable law grants consumers the right to bring proceedings in their local jurisdiction.

26. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify users through the website, application, or by email before the changes take effect.

Continued use of LifeKeep after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
