Delete Your LifeKeep Account

LifeKeep users can request permanent deletion of their LifeKeep account and associated personal data. This page explains how to do that, what is deleted, and what may be retained.

LifeKeep is operated by Empowered Dynamics FZ-LLC.

How to delete your LifeKeep account

The fastest way is inside the LifeKeep app. Account deletion is already available there.

Open LifeKeepSign in with the account you want to delete.
Go to SettingsOpen the Settings tab in the app.
Open your profile / account settingsOpen the profile and account area where personal details and account controls are managed.
Select Delete AccountChoose Delete Account / Delete LifeKeep Account.
Review the warningLifeKeep asks you to confirm that you want to permanently delete your account and data.
Confirm deletionComplete the confirmation step (including entering your password when prompted) to submit the deletion.

If you can still open the app, use this in-app flow. It uses LifeKeep's authenticated account deletion process.

Request account deletion

Cannot access the app? Submit a deletion request below. We will only act after verifying ownership of the account email.

Use the email registered to your LifeKeep account. We do not ask for your password on this page.

Request received If an eligible LifeKeep account exists for this email, we will contact that registered address to verify ownership and continue the deletion process. This does not instantly delete an account.

Security note: submitting an email here does not immediately delete an account. LifeKeep verifies that the requester controls the registered email before proceeding. You can also email privacy@lifekeep.io or support@lifekeep.io from your LifeKeep account email.

What happens to your data?

When a LifeKeep account is deleted, we securely delete or anonymise personal information associated with that account, unless we are legally required to retain certain records (see below and our Privacy Policy).

Account and profile information

Name, email address, password credentials, and optional profile photograph.

Content you stored in LifeKeep

Information you added in Buckets — such as documents, notes, household and property details, contacts, tasks, and related records.

Trusted Access and continuity settings

Trusted people details, invitation status, access permissions, and continuity preferences tied to your account.

App preferences and notifications

Account settings, preferences, and notification choices associated with your profile.

Device and diagnostic links to your account

Limited technical information connected to your signed-in account (for example device/app identifiers used for sync, security, or reliability).

Separately, within the app, items moved to Recently Deleted are permanently removed after 30 days. That is the in-app recycle period for deleted items, not a substitute for full account deletion.

Information that may be retained

Aligned with LifeKeep's Privacy Policy (section 13 — Data retention).

We keep information only as long as necessary to provide LifeKeep services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

If you delete your account, we will securely delete or anonymise your personal information unless we are legally required to retain certain records.

Legal, security, fraud-prevention, and accounting records

Where required by law or needed to detect misuse, protect rights, or meet accounting/regulatory duties — for example limited billing or payment records handled with our payment providers. LifeKeep does not store complete payment card numbers.

Retention period

LifeKeep's published Privacy Policy does not state a single fixed number of days or years for every retained category after account deletion. Retained records are kept only for as long as those legal, security, dispute, or accounting purposes require, then deleted or anonymised.

Before you delete your account

Deletion is intended to be permanent.

  • You will no longer be able to sign in to that LifeKeep account.
  • Associated data scheduled for deletion generally cannot be recovered.
  • If you want to use LifeKeep again later, you would need to create a new account.
  • If you have an active paid subscription through Apple or Google, also cancel or manage that subscription in the App Store or Google Play account settings so renewals stop.
